What contribution iSYS makes to sustainability
The United Nations Environment Programme has been organising World Environment Day every year since 1974. The day is intended to draw attention to how important it is to contribute to a clean and sustainable environment.
At iSYS, we have been focussing on the sustainability of the company for years. Our Corporate Social Responsibility department is committed to making our company more environmentally friendly. We have already taken many initiatives to make our day-to-day work more sustainable:
- When it comes to technical equipment for our employees, we rely on energy-saving and efficient devices.
- Thanks to the almost complete digitalisation of our work processes, we are no longer reliant on paper and are saving resources.
- The option of working from home not only makes everyday working life easier, but also reduces emissions caused by travelling to the workplace.
- Together with the property management, we have had our air conditioning system, which is necessary for the server rooms, refurbished. This now works even more energy-efficiently.
- Our office buildings and servers have been powered by green electricity for years. This is generated 100 per cent from renewable energies.
Further initiatives are already planned for the future to make iSYS even more sustainable. Sustainability and environmental friendliness are two key aspects that we are committed to and that characterise iSYS.
