Please introduce yourself briefly: Who are you and how did you come to iSYS?

Hi, I’m Thomas and I’ve been with iSYS for 10 years. I originally completed my practical semester for my business informatics degree here. I liked it so much that I immediately continued as a working student and wrote my Bachelor’s and Master’s thesis here.

What are your tasks at iSYS?

As a Business Intelligence Consultant, I help our customers to prepare their data for specialist departments and management and make it available in an appealing way so that they can gain the greatest possible amount of information and insights from it. I work on the entire technology stack, from data collection, data management, ETL processes and visualisation and reporting.

What excites you most about your job?

I find it very exciting to gain concrete insights into the different data structures of various companies. No two companies are the same, and that makes every project unique for us.

What can new team members expect when they join iSYS?

A pleasant working atmosphere and interesting projects with nice colleagues. The option to work from home offers flexibility for those who need it.

What do you do in your free time?

Besides bowling and cycling, I also have more nerdy hobbies like tabletop wargaming and PC gaming.
