New customer: iSYS supports Stadtwerke Pfaffenhofen with IT transformation

We support Stadtwerke Pfaffenhofen in first-level support and accompany the strategic reorganisation of IT support – particularly with regard to the targeted and efficient use of external service providers on site. Our focus is not only on day-to-day business, but above all on the optimisation and further development of IT structures. A central topic is the more efficient distribution and centralised inventory of the hardware used at the workstations – with the aim of creating transparency, streamlining processes and making operational procedures more efficient. At the same time, we support the optimisation and more effective implementation of existing IT security guidelines – with a view to the requirements of the NIS 2 directive.

What is particularly exciting for us is the partnership-based collaboration as part of the planned reorganisation of the entire IT infrastructure. The customer’s long-term goal is to take more responsibility for IT in-house again. Our role here is to help them help themselves and create structures that enable sustainable independence.

Municipal utilities such as Stadtwerke Pfaffenhofen a. d. Ilm are operating in an increasingly complex field of tension between digitalisation, automation and cyber security.
