The aim of the project is to sustainably improve the customer experience in the area of lead management in customer support through data-based transparency. Our task was to systematically evaluate service requirements worldwide using Qlik Sense. By developing and providing relevant KPIs, we enable management to control and optimise performance in lead management across markets.

As part of the switch to Amazon AWS, the customer aims to consolidate all relevant data and applications on a central platform. We are therefore currently supporting the migration of existing dashboards to Amazon QuickSight.

The challenge

As part of the project, the applications are being continuously developed in Qlik Sense – using agile development methods and in close coordination with the specialist departments. At the same time, we are supporting the migration of existing applications to the cloud-based BI solution Amazon QuickSight in order to meet the customer’s strategic orientation towards a central AWS platform. As the solution is used worldwide, it is necessary to deal with a high degree of heterogeneity in the data sources. A particular focus is therefore placed on ensuring data quality across all markets. The KPIs developed are subject to a high level of management focus and form the basis for decisions on the control of international lead management.


The solution

Uniform front-end template
To ensure a consistent user experience, a central UI/UX template was developed that strictly adheres to the customer’s corporate design guidelines. This enables a uniform presentation across different dashboards and platforms.
Technical refactoring
Existing code and data models were fundamentally revised to improve the performance, maintainability and expandability of the solution. Particular attention was paid to ensuring a clear separation between data logic and visualisation.
Setting up your own AWS provider
To strengthen data sovereignty and independence, a dedicated AWS provider was set up. This will enable customers to operate and control their data processes entirely on their own in future – a key prerequisite for the further expansion of the BI landscape within the AWS infrastructure.
