iSYS supports QUESAP in developing an AI solution for nursing training

Providing a platform for planning and documenting operational training phases presents QUESAP.software with the particular challenge of translating universal and complex guidelines and specifications into concrete, individual training plans with appropriate learning and practical tasks. This task is to be simplified through the targeted use of AI as part of the collaboration.
Development of an AI-supported MVP
The core of the project is the development of a minimum viable product (MVP) that supports the creation of work and learning tasks using AI. The solution is based on a pre-trained large language model (LLM) that is enriched with a domain-specific knowledge database according to the RAG principle (retrieval-augmented generation).
QUESAP. software provides both the relevant data and the nursing and vocational training expertise for this purpose: framework training plans, legal requirements, examples and task formats. On this basis, level-specific work and learning tasks can be generated that have a uniform format – for example, with information on target competencies, nursing settings, situations, tasks, reflection questions and assessment matrices.
Schedule and outlook
We will present the first version by the end of September. This will be followed by further steps: presentation at trade fairs, gathering customer feedback, expanding functions and increasing impact.
About the customer
QUESAP.software GmbH specialises in digital solutions for training and degree programmes in nursing and healthcare professions. The company offers a platform for planning the practical components of training programmes. The aim of the platform is to organise training content and times efficiently and transparently, structure the content and document it in a semi-automated manner. Based on the empirically tested QUESAP model, training companies are supported in translating generally applicable guidelines into company training plans, taking into account different settings such as hospitals, nursing homes or outpatient care.
