A practical training series taught managers how generative AI can be used effectively in everyday work. The focus was on proven methods for effective prompting, the use of AI tools in reporting, and the creation of automated workflows – without any programming effort.

Concrete application scenarios were played out using real business cases. The result: measurable growth in expertise and the first productive AI applications in everyday working life.

The challenge

The efficient use of artificial intelligence in a business context raises similar questions for many organisations: How can you get started with a complex technology such as generative AI? Which specific use cases bring real added value? And how can you empower employees to use AI safely, transparently and strategically?

For managers in particular, the challenge was to identify potential areas for improvement – for example, in analysis, reporting or automation – and to integrate these into their daily work without any prior technical knowledge. At the same time, the aim was not only to digitise existing processes, but also to improve them in a targeted manner.

The solution

Strengthening digital literacy
Participants learned not only how to use AI tools, but also how to integrate them into their thinking and working processes in a targeted manner. The combination of theory, practice and individual use cases resulted in a tangible understanding of the possibilities of generative AI. This strengthened their confidence in using new technologies independently.
First internally usable AI workflows
During the training, specific workflows for everyday use were developed, such as automated liquidity comments and scalable prompt modules for reports. The tools were configured so that they could be used immediately without additional IT resources. This created direct operational added value.
Improving the quality, speed and traceability of reports
Through the targeted use of AI, data analyses could be created more quickly and presented more clearly. Prompt templates ensured structured and consistent results – even for complex questions. At the same time, the reasoning remained transparent and comprehensible at all times.
Sustainable competence building in dealing with generative AI
Instead of short-term impulses, the training focused on long-term learning: participants developed their own repertoire of methods, templates and strategies. Through real-life practice scenarios and transfer tasks, working with AI became increasingly natural. This ensures that it becomes firmly anchored in everyday working life.
